( 23.10.2014 )The three-year project period was symbolically completed on October 21, when the final conference of the project ReStEP was held.
The event was attended by approximately fifty participants mainly from government and academic sphere, but also from the private sector. The guests of honor were represented by Ing. Petr Kalaš, former Minister of the Environment and adviser to the current Minister of the Environment, Ing. Tomáš Kažmierski, Director of the Department of Economic and voluntary instruments of the Ministry of the Environment and Ing. Václav Kroutil, member of the Pardubice Region Council responsible for environment, agriculture and countryside.
The largest part of the conference was devoted to presentation of final version of the map application ReStEP, including its complementary instruments, such as the methodology Regional Sources Assessment or web Encyclopedia ReStEP.
The conference day was ended with an informal afternoon discussion about topics related to the utilization of the main outputs, future of the project and its sustainability.
